The Paradigm of Misspelling

This a lovely place where everything is misspelled and everyone frolicks in fields of pretty flowers! Or not...

So I'm going along reading GUNDAM SEED. And I'm like, "Whoa! It's Zechs!" Posted by Hello

But then I realize it's NOT Zechs. Just a strange man who looks incredibly like Zechs. This is Zechs: Posted by Hello

So I'm confused until I find out his name is like "Le Cruet" or something. A cruet, if I am not mistaken, is used to hold salad dressing. Gundam is strange. I'd forgotten how much I loved it <3

So. Content. Saw 13 Going on 30. SO SAD! You can't just throw that sort of stuff away! Also, Christine and I have a new theme song. Clever ones can guess.

Also, I wish sweet boys exsisted. And I wish I had time to devote to said imaginary sweet boy. Or maybe just to a boy that I happened to love, regardless of sweetness. *sigh* Even though I feel bad for discouraging the freshman sophomore, it's true what I told him. Do don't do it if it's not for love. What I didn't tell him was, even if it is for love, your heart'll end up broken anyway... But that is pessimistic! Yeah, well...

New rule: Like the bus, what is said in the movie theatre stays in the movie theatre.

Also, I ate chicken rice for dinner. And it was hard to eat it because my throat was swelling to a lump. Ah, well. I am young. Heartache to heartache, I stand.

***Disclaimer: the previous sentence was not SUPPOSED to make any sense. Kind of like how my brother is CONSTANTLY BASHING MICHIGAN and I find it extremely hillarious.

So, like... CASTANETS. I'm so glad I talked to her. She said "I'm sold." I'm really happy because now I can learn to play hand castanets. And so can Chrstine and the rest of us. w00t.

Now, I have to go to bed. I apologize that this post we written at three very different times...

Graduation last night. Good speakers. And I drew a picture of Mars.

Bought gifts for seniors. And clothes. Also pretzels.

Jeff: Build-a-Bear with fairy princess dress, crown, ninja throwing star, and I sewed on teeth to make it a chipmunk.
Sollosi: Dragon who we made into Trogdor and three videos: Best of the Muppet show, Galaxy Quest, and some kung-fu movie.
Clare: Build-a-bear that if you press its hand it goes "CLA~ARE!" We had fun with that one.

Clothes are for Japan, so they had to be stylish and not shorts. As a matter of fact, they are skirts. Also bought something to not bring to Japan due to not-sleeve having things being SCANDALOUS! Although, Mommy also says I shouldn't wear to many bright patterns, but I disagree. I think I've been flirting with the younger, liberal Japan for too long...

In further news, Fuki has a boyfriend! Whoa.

So, after fourth period tommorrow, I will have NO MORE WORK to do, only parties. And the peasants rejoiced.

So now I do stuff. Ta ta.

So, I have lots to write about. First, since it was requested, Practice.

So, I skipped most of HUM to clean things up. Then I set things up after school. Finally, t3h froshen started showing up. We had three: Anna, Greg, and Fish. They went to fill in holes in the battery and then the battery went to the chorus room. Met Brett and Joey and saw John. Glad he's not dead.

So, since some people couldn't come, we had a vet pit. Krystle, Duty, Steve, Abbie, and me. Christine was at play practice. We played a bit and talked a lot. Thank goodness for no more together warm up thing.

John kept calling me "Jeff." Then Krystle started pining for Clare. She didn't seem to care about Yeff and Sollosi... Maybe because she can't imagine pit without Clare due to the fact that her only year was with Clare. Personally, I think Jeff's abscence is hitting me hardest, but I miss them all. :(

Practice ended half an hour early, so then I played text twist. And that was practice. It was... Bland. Nondescript. We lost all our personality. But apparently Fish is a trouble maker. Knew we'd get a Sidy replacement.

Next, Last Samurai.

So, My parents don't get Hara Kiri. That's the first thing. But the subtitles were, in fact, very quality. Also, I understood a lot of the Japanese!

There were lots of ninja. But more importantly, there was Bob.

"You're here to protect me, aren't you Bob? Do you mind if I call you Bob? I knew a man named Bob once. He was ugly as a mule."

But I liked the end. Meiji took long enough, but... The only thing I have to say is, nothing better have happened between him and Taka. That is all.
Four stars.

Thirdly, Harii Pottaa to Azukanban no Shuujin.

So, I suppose if you know my feelings about the Harry Potter movies, you should know that this one was no different. As a matter of fact, I am a tad upset with the gaping holes in plot. Now you could be thinking that it's because I now what's supposed to be here. No. Let me share this conversation:

Me: They didn't even explain how Lupin could read the map!
Dad: Well, it's obviously because he was evil, right?
Me: No, Daddy. Not at all.

But it was prettier then the others. And it was well done cinematography-wise. BUT! It would have been nice to have the major scene left intact instead of putting in some babble about random stuff. Or making the Knight Bus scene last forever WITHOUT even including the plot is was supposed to. *sigh* Three stars, as a movie. One and a half as an adaptation.

Finally, Star Trek.

OMG! So, there was a whole Julian episode! Yay! Although, Jadzia is very right. I'm glad he grew up and made the right decision (The Quickening). Also, Quark is a horrible, slimy little toad. But you have to give him credit for being creative, re: the Quarks mug that plays music when you drink from it. Hate Eddington. And yes.

So, today we finfished BAD PLAN and started THE VOYAGE HOME. w00t./ Although, Austin is very confused... Oh, well. We're just getting out of the exposition and on to the funny part. w00t. Squishy trash cans!

Now, since I am in physics, I can't tell you about the rest of my day. But maybe later...

Eh. So glad school is almost over.

So the practice thing worked out, for anyone who cares. It's tomorrow. From 4:30 to 6:30. As everyone knows because I called them.

So now I go to bed after seeing Samurai pics of Tristan. Katana, talk to me if you wanna see 'em.

So, like, I have a lot of stuff to do. And not much time.

What did I do today? Watch TMNT. Good use of time. Right.

Also Astro test of DEATH with a capital DEATH. Yeah.

Memorials was good.

Physics included me quizzing Tim on Kanji. This utilized such sentences as:

"The female station employee jumped into a river to end her life." and "My husband is wide, blue, cheap, tasty, and long." OMG

So then t3h Ulrey asks me "Can we have a rehearsal tommorrow?" At which point I die, because I've been after her about this since April so it'll be scheduled IN ADVANCE. Then she says she'll e-mail with a time or call. But she does neither. So I consulted my handy-dandy notebook Drum Major, and she advised me to do what I think is best for the line, so now we have a practice but may or may not have instructors.

I am also in SWE even though I have not yet auditioned. All the other "auditions pending" people are up in the air. Not me. Yet I still have to audition. ...*sigh*...

But back to the subject at hand. It is easier to beg forgiveness than to ask permission.

In further news, I am severly upset at the pit.

But mostly, I'm just tired. Goodnight.

So, firstly, review of HARII POTTAA TO AZUKABAN NO SHUUJIN will be out later. i.e. when I feel like it.

Nextly, finished re-reading SAREK. Whooboy.

Lastly, I watched Star Trek today.

So, this week included the O'Brien going to prison except not episode, the fake emissary episode, the Worf-is-a-Klingon episode, and the Jake!alternate universe episode. I got to see Julian a lot, but in passing. Figured out why I like him so much. His compassion.

You know, throughout the entirety of Star Trek, the main point is that Humans, when it comes down it, have the quality of compassion when no one else does. The Romulans or the Klingons might do something for honor. The Vulcans would do it for logic. But Humans are the only ones out there that do something simply for compassion. I think maybe that's an important message. Are there other ones? Yeah. But this one is supposed to show us what we have inside of ourselves, and what we can do to make things better on this world. Compassion is the key.

And now that I've been philosophical, I have to say that Worf is cool for kicking that guy's butt, it's sad that Jennifer died again, that poet guy is just about as stupid a man as I have ever seen, and Julian is t3h wai. That is all.

Look. Content. Wow.

So we went to confederate land. With Ranger Randy and his Really Rockin' Repost. It was interesting, even though he told me his life story ^^; And then he told everybody else. Yeah, sorry about that, people in my HUM. I just wanted to know how "park ranger" even came into consideration.

I have Calculus to do. And I forgot to talk to Ms. Hennig about that Astro test I missed... Curses. Well, at least I know my constellations.

Got to read SAREK on the bus. Fun times.

I want to see Harry Potter tommorrow and now my parents are arguing and I have clac to do! *sigh* Where is my Kate when I need her?

Come to think of it, where am I when my ship needs me? I've let this inactivity thing go on for far to long now. We're cutting down. And that's that. In the old days Katana and Kim and I could have a jolly good adventure easily. Now it takes so much effort, and I feel bad when everyone's not involved, yet they don't involve themselves. *sigh*

To Beth: malice - feeling a need to see others suffer.

I don't think it fits that.

Whoa.

So I finished BEST DESTINY. Memorable quote:

"Take the conn, Chekov." [he does stuff] "Chekov has better things to do-"

I am reminded of THE DEADLY YEARS. And it just now strikes me the Chekov is the only coward. Is this a comment on Russians...?

The band banquet was not a total loss due to... JEFF DANCE! Woe be to you if you missed it.

Also took two tests. And... stuff.

Amanda made my day. And Andy is, in fact, right (for once).

somebody: so, Andy, now that you're a co-historian, what are you going to do next?
t3h lo0ser (Andy): *smiles* i'm going to try to be entirely perfect and not step out of line once because once I do, we're toast.

I need to take a shower and shave my hairy!legs.

And then I get to leave for school at 6:15. fun fun fun.
